Other Resources

Searching for other food resources in Wamego? Linked below is a list of those we are aware of.

Client Choice

At Faith market, guests have the opportunity to choose the foods they receive. This unique aspect helps us better meet the needs and dignity of our guests while reducing food waste. When guests arrive, they are given a food list shopping card based on the number of people in their household. Volunteers are available to assist guests with the process of selecting foods to best meet their needs and preferences.

Creative Meal Solutions

In partnership with Julene DeRouchey, K-State Research and Extension Pottawatomie County SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator, we offer Creative Meal Solutions. These classes include a variety of nutrition and cooking information, a cooking demonstration, free samples and opportunities to win free groceries. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend!

How You Can Help

If you are interested in volunteering at Faith Market, please contact the front office at Wamego UMC! We need volunteers to help clients shop on Tuesdays as well as volunteers to help unload large food deliveries on every second and fourth Monday.

Making nutritious food available to everyone through Faith Market is a community effort! Please consider donating healthy, non-perishable items as well as toiletry products. Donations are accepted at the front office of the church building. Click the button below to access a donation guide.

Monetary donations are always appreciated and helpful. They are primarily used to purchase perishable items such as milk, meat and fresh fruit and vegetables. You are welcome to donate via cash, check or online. Checks should be made out to Wamego UMC with "Food Pantry" in the memo. Click the button below to donate online.
