The food pantry located in our church building is a ministry of the Council of Churches in Wamego. Participating churches donate funds and volunteers to help make this ministry possible.

COVID has had far-reaching consequences beyond the spread of the disease itself including an increase in food insecurity. With the help of Eagle Media, we have an awesome opportunity for you to amplify your support for your neighbors in need!

Eagle Media is matching donations up to $10,000 between the Flinthills Bread Basket and the Wamego Council of Churches Food Pantry — that’s up to $5,000 for our food pantry alone! Donations can be made at If you’d like to mail a check, please contact our office.

To help keep our volunteers and those we're serving safe, we have changed the distribution process and increased sanitization. We will use the covered ramp in the alley for distribution. Drive back using the 7th street entrance. A volunteer will greet you at your window. Please remain in your car until instructed otherwise. At that time you will be asked to get your food box from the table under the canopy.
