Food Pantry

Wamego Council of Churches Food Pantry

The food pantry located in our church is a ministry of the Council of Churches in Wamego. Participating churches donate funds and volunteers to help make this ministry possible.

Do You Need Food?

We're open 9 AM-12 PM on Tuesday's and Thursday's. Wamego residents can utilize our food pantry once a month.

If you need a ride, call the Pottawotamie County public transportation bus at 877-728-0433. Suggested donation is $1.

Volunteer Your Time

Interested in a hands on approach to helping feed families in our community?

On the first Monday of every month, we need volunteers to unload the delivery truck and stock our pantry. This is generally around 1:00 PM but times vary, so give us a call if you'd like to help!

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we need volunteers to stock and organize our pantry as well as serve those who come in for food.
