On Monday, April 19, we're hosting a plant potting party in Fellowship Hall! Come and go as you please between 5:00 and 7:00 PM. We'll provide a variety of upcycled containers, soil and a plant. You're welcome to take your plant home with you or leave it with us to gift to our homebound members.

Wamego Recreation Complex (HWY 24 and Balderson Ave)

 

On Tuesday, April 20, at 7:00 PM, as the snow melts and the sun comes out, we'll head to the Wamego Recreation Complex to enjoy God's creation and check out this month's StoryWalk, "Tulip Loves Rex".

Wednesday, April 21

On Wednesday, April 21, we will have take and make bird feeders available! We will be upcycling toilet paper rolls to make this cute craft. You can grab your materials between 5:30 and 7:15 PM. They will be set on a table just inside our main entrance while we host Bible Club that evening.  

Conservation conversation with rob manes

On Thursday, April 22, at 7:00 PM, Rob Manes, the state director of the conservation organization in Kansas, will give a presentation on our Facebook page! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about large-scale conservation in our home state.

take and make dog & Cat toys

Covered Awning (Back Alley)

On Friday, April 23, we will have take and make dog and cat toys available! We will be upcycling t-shirts to make this cute craft. You can grab your materials between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. Just drive through our covered awning in our back alley. Stay seated and we will bring your materials to you!

Tuttle Creek Clean up

 

Saturday, April 24

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

River Pond Camp Store

 

On Saturday, April 24, we will join in on the Tuttle Creek Clean Up Day! Volunteers should meet at the River Pond Camp Store around 8:30 AM. We will then work from approximately 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Snacks will be provided. We encourage you to bring bug spray, gloves and good walking shoes. If you'd like to join us, please contact our office by Wednesday, April 21 so we can get a general headcount to the park.

Grocery bag donation day

Sunday, April 25

8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Entryway

On Sunday, April 25, we ask that you bring your old grocery bags to worship! We will have boxes available for your donations in the entryway of our church. (If you're worshipping from home, feel free to drop them off during our office hours on Monday). Donations will be given to a friend of the church who makes weather-resistant mats for the homeless.
